Solar Powered Borehole Pumps

Ben’s Irrigation has been installing DAB Borehole pumps for 240V and 415V applications and DAB solar powered borehole pumps for applications where power is not possible.

 

We install Borehole pumps for the following applications: Farming, civil and Industrial water systems, filling of water tanks, horticulture and agriculture water supply, irrigation of gardens lawns and nursery’s and off-grid water supplies. These Borehole pumps are great for all pumping needs.

 

Our Installation team installs solar powered systems from 4 panels to 16 panels producing 0.8kw to 3.2kw. Flow rates up to 190 litres per minute and heads of up to 140 metres (on our solar powered systems), and flows of up to 450 litres per minute and head max of 300 meters on our 415 systems.

 

The Borehole pumps we use have the following technology and hydraulic design to preserve pump life:

• Technopolymer impellers and diffusers for resistance to wear and corrosion
• Floating special material abrasion wear ring reduces wear due to sand and allows easier starting
• Micro cast stainless steel support and valve body for high strength and corrosion resistance
• 4GG and 4OL single phase motors use remote starter box with manual reset overload
• Large range to suit most applications
• Floating impeller stack for easier starts in abrasive conditions
• Posi drive pump shaft improves impeller life in adverse conditions
• Maximum sand quantity = 120 gm / m3
